An absolute killer of an album.

This, the first album credited as Ty Segall Band is colossal. Maybe with a backing band the album sounds more live than studio and is the loudest of his albums that I know of. The band tear their way through from Death to Oh Mary, barely letting up the noise level and even the instrumental jam Fuzz at the end sounds great for so long although at 11 minutes long does drag on a little bit. But this is just as essential as anything else he's ever put out to date. Looking forward to hearing some more new music from him. Read full review...
