SMALL TOWN GIRL MAKES GREAT COUNTRY MUSIC

Another great country artist emerges from the American Idol fire. Kelly Pickler may have lost to Taylor Hicks and others but her star may just out shine her fellow contestants.
Kelly, is nothing like Carrie Underwood, even though critics and fairweather country buffs continue to compare the two. They both are great new country artists but they are not cut from the same cloth.
Small Town Girl is a very great CD with the typical country mantra songs, like Red High Heels and Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind.
Red High Heels is an awesome song with catchy lyrics that will still be getting air play in ten years. (You heard it first...here.)
Other highlights on the album are Gotta Keep Moving, Wild Ponies, Small Town Girl, Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You and I'm On My Way. All the songs on this album hold there own like, I Wonder, a song about her estranged mother and My Angel, a song about her grandmother.
Kelly Pickler may have a funny name, she may hate calamari and mispronounce it too but we love her silly quirks and grittiness. ( She uses the squid thing in her Small Town Girl song.) She has only just begun her journey as a country star but this Small Town Girl is here to stay.

Kellie Pickler's Debut CD!

I loved Kellie Pickler on American Idol (I picked Pickler!) and being one of the first to produce an album shows she has a lot of ambition to boot!
Her voice is raw and totally country on this album, which is rarely seen lately. People compare her to Carrie Underwood but she is not quite as refined or "pop" as Carrie. Definitely a Must Have! My faves include "Red High Heels" "Small Town Girl" and "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind".Read full review...

Kellie Pickler-Great Music

Kellie, has a wonderful voice and what I think of as real country music. None of this wondering if Kellie really sings rock but wants to be a country singer. She is a pure country singer with real pure country sound.
As always Kellie pours her heart into this album with all she has. Very touchy songs about real life.

i love this cd. kellie was my favorite idol even though she didnt win. red high heels is the hit song right now and the video is also very good. easy on the eyes and a sexy country voice...what else do you need.

Loved It!

I absolutely loved this CD! So much that when I lost it (or thought I did) I ordered another one. I remembered her from American Idol, and it was heart-breaking when she was voted off though you knew she had to go. I loved her attitude about everything. She does not have a big head concerning any of it, and I think her songs are wonderful. Her voice matches country so well, and I hope to hear loads more from her in the future. Wonderful

This CD is amazing!! Kellie Pickler is a wonderful singer, and she sangs about real life things. She knows what she doing and she's doing it well. I give it a PERFECT 10.

Its a great CD, not disappointed at all. Great singer and has all the top hits on there. I would recommend to anyone. I listen to it everyday even tho its an older CD of hers.
