WORKED OVER 1000' AWAY!

---EXCELLENT DEVICE BUT DOCUMENTATION IS AWFUL --

I MOVED THE RECEIVER TO A BASEMENT: Was still able to operate the receiver from 200 feet through a wooded lot reliably.

I THEN MOVED THE RECEIVER TO THE SECOND STORY of the house and was able to activate the receiver OVER A THOUSAND feet away - RELIABLY 800 feet away with just the key FOB transmitter.

This is among the best remote controls I have ever used. The working distance is as described. I tested this up to 300 feet so far from outside through a wooded lot through several walls inside house to receiver.

Documentation is not very well written. I am a very technical person, journeymen electrician/ electrical controls engineer and I find The documentation confusing so I just started flipping the dip switches to all combinations to see how it works. I connected the relay outputs to an Allen Bradley PLC 5/20 input module so I can write program logic to use the remote to control various things (many more than the remote can do without a programmable controller connected to it )depending on conditions programmed in the plc.

Automation saves time!

Fumbling through my keys all the time to unlock my tool box at work was killing me! To save time I installed the solidremote in my tool Box with A 12 volt door actuator and a battery pack.
