A very thought provoking book

Mosab Hassan Yousef, a very brave young man and now a Christian convert, tells about how as a young man he struggles to make sense of the endless violence between his Palestinian Islamic country and the occupying Christian Israeli defense fores IDF.

He talks about Hamas, an Islamic terrorist organization, and his Father, one of the originals founding members of that organization.

Mosab explains how after spending a considerable amount of time in an Israeli prison, he agrees to become a spy for the Shin Bet, an Israel security agency to identify Hamas terrorists and suicide bombers in an attempt to curb the carnage in his country.

Mosab has turned away from Islam and the Qur'an's teachings of jihad, and has embraced the holy bible as his guide through life.

This book is a real eye opener and gives the reader, one young mans first hand experience of what it's like to live in the middle east. It has several political reference's, mentioning Saddam Hussein and Yasser arafat in several contexts, but it's an easy read at only 280 or so pages.

Highly recommended.
