Perfect for my needs at very competitive price

I broke my Sony Ericsson Walkman which had 8GB for my music & audiobooks. I reviewed replacements having decided on a smartphone & selected the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 on eBay for function & price.<br>
I was pleasantly surprised at the functions & make great use of podcast (audio & TV) & early newspaper editions download overnight from my broadband. I catch up on podcasts & read newspapers while travelling. So the phone is used extensively.

It was a big change moving from a dumb phone to a smartphone but once I read the guide I found it easy to set up.

Battery needs to be charged frequently but then I use it extensively so I charge it on my laptop while working.

I am no techno mad guy .In my humble opinion its great value for money .

I think the model is about 6 years old . I had two and they both work wonderful and do what I want . If you want to buy a case for it , they are still available on ebay and I got those nifty screen protector things because I carry a lot of junk around in my pockets . One screen was quite marked from someone doing just that , you don want it to get any worse though.
Its opposite number had the charger input cover missing , So being realistic great value and I would say the general condition was above average for the wear and tear phones normally get . Very satisfied !Read full review...

The best value-for-money smartphone available; it lacks only an FM radio to be the overall best.
Everything you need in an android smartphone; from Kindle to Navmii free SatNav, through Facebook and Ebay to Colournote and SuperCompass it handles them all seamlessly.
Battery lasts maybe 2 days but I discovered recently that it even makes phone calls and texts :)

Great phone bought to replace my 6 year old phone the bigger screen makes texting easy the battery life could be better but even saying that I would buy again, a very good product.

This phone is okay to put you on while your phone is getting fixed. The battery life is very poor having to charge is twice a day due to battery keeps failing.
