Simple to use but too simple

Simple to use but with very limited video record options. No controls for White Balance, ISO, Exposure Compensation, Color, etc. Video quality is just okay with heavy compression in color (low bit rate) and limited dynamic range. It does work well in low light conditions and best when subjects are close. It does have image stabilization and a wide angle of view (170 degrees). Its worth upgrading firmware to get 1080p 60fps with some improvement in video quality. Its well built, light weight, and easy to use. Wifi allows cell phone controls and view finder to frame shots. Training pack comes with useful accessories. Overall a good action so as long as you aren't looking for top shelf video performance. I have since purchased Sony's AS200V and a GoPro Hero4 both offering up far far superior video quality.Read full review...
