It works perfectly on my Samsung smart tv, I bought 2 wired controllers and am swimming in nostalgia. There was a sizeable chip in the power cord however, I was worried it may not work, but it did.

It worked well at first, but the connection was incredibly weak due to the cord that hooks up to the tv being severely damaged. I assume I can find & buy a new one, but that was pretty disappointing. All is good except the rip off memory card
Everything works as described. The disc tray opens a little rough and noisy, but works perfectly otherwise. Only one thing really upset me about this purchase. It is the fact that this lot is supposed to have two memory cards with it. Well....It has one intact fully functioning red see thru card, and one totally EMPTY red see thru memory card CASE. Somebody actually opened it up and removed the guts. Why even bother sending somebody a useless empty case? That's pretty messed up!Read full review...

Overall excellent condition, especially for being almost 2 decades old. It matched the photos and started up fine, though I'm still waiting on a controller and memory card but I'm sure the ports will work normally as well. I gave it a light cleaning and I opened it up and the inside looked great as well with a minor amount of dust and the ribbon cables looked good too; the warranty seal was still unaltered so it seems as if it was a well taken care of console by the previous owner(s). The only missing component was the expansion bay cover (the photos showed it was missing too so no points lost there) but I'm also adding a network adapter so it was of no concern.Read full review...

Recieved as expected, looks exactly like what was pictured. I was mainly worried it wouldn't be the SCPH-39001 number listed since I intend to mod it, but it's the right one. The DVD tray is a little slow to open, but seems to work fine otherwise and I may even be able to fix that myself if I need to. It recognizes my controllers and memory card, and video outputs to my monitor just fine. One problem after another.
Was not given a functional power cable. Attempted to play multiple discs but console wouldn't play any discs or read them. The controllers were okay. The component cables were fine. The console overall was fine. However not being able to read discs makes it quite useless. Wouldn't buy from these people if half of the stuff they give you doesn't function. The system was shipped with power cord not designed for this gaming system. It's a good thing I had one from my old PS2. There were scratches on the case which were not shown in the pictures.

Console was packaged all killer but the cables and controller didn’t work properly. I had to replace all 3 cables. The video cables gave a real bad signal. Controller was super worn out.
