Great DVD blue ray player!.
It’s only been 3 weeks since I’ve got this player. At first, I had a little trouble figuring out how to setup the regional feature correctly. But I know that Sony makes good products. Which is why I highly recommend this player to anyone who is is not looking to spend a fortune on a good player. Frankly, I think it’s the most versatile player I’ve ever owned. Sony x800m2 is a good choice for the money
It's the second time I've bought a Sony x800m2. It's very good for the price and plays any media currently on the market. The downside is some video noise in DVD playback. You will see some white pixels glowing around the outlines of people and objects in outdoor footage. Ok, I compared the Sony ubp-800m2 with the Oppo 203 and 83, which cost twice as much and have much more efficient processors for DVD and Blu-Ray media.

Just like the DVD video format, Bluray players will eventually fade away. There are only a handful of bluray player manufacturers left. This mid-priced Sony model is ideal for those who still have a good bluray and DVD collection. Its all region capability is a great help, and it plays high-end CDs too, as well as DTS. This Thing Does EXACTLY What It Promises!
This player is AWESOME. It's literally played every disc I've thrown at it without ever once needing to change regions or format (PAL/NTSC) settings; it just reads the disc and plays it beautifully without any issue.

One of the best 4K Blu ray player in 2021.
Supports HiRes Audio and 4K, all regions, all blu ray discs,
easy to use, best picture quality, but, sometimes, the player reset by itself, usually during playing 4K content.
Covid-19 made our home to a cinema, but there are no many players around in 2021, because of the streaming services, but NOTHING compares to physical media in sound and picture quality.
Also, read discs very fast, my older BD-Player takes much longer time to read discs.
