A perfect version

This version of the Dolgiran is fantastic. I think it is superior to the original toy. First of all the proportions are very show accurate. The mini Gavan tank and cycle are well detailed and fit perfectly inside the saucer. The dragon transformation is near perfect with everything nicely concealed inside when it is in ship mode. It's also kind of a cool throwback that the ship can play the Gavan theme song when you press the small button. One more great thing about this piece is not in the instructions. The dragon comes with 2 sets of 'wiskers'. One with a Gavan figure and one without. The one without Gavan can be stored along with the vehicles in the saucer's main compartment. I really like this because you can take everything with you. You don't have to leave parts aside or in the box.. The only slightly negative thing I can see is that the original toy had die-cast in the saucer while this version of the saucer is all plastic. This doesn't bother me at all because the dragon is still made with die-cast and the proportions are overall nearly perfect. Truly a spectacular piece. Well done Bandai.Read full review...
