Great little gyro for flybarred RC helis in the North Pole!
I have about 12 gyros of different brands. The most expensive, a very outdated JR from the year 2000, but it still flew very well, till I sold my Corona helicopter with it. The rest of cheap to moderately expensive gyros, just garbage! They did not hold the tail well, and lots of grief to set them to work correctly! Then, I looked into the Quark black and transparent case. So, got transparent case and put it in a 15yr old Hobby Lobby Revo CP 400 heli. I did not even set it up correctly from the beginning, and the gyro set itself up correctly right away (did not go through the proper steps to move the sticks, etc.) Flew the Revo and held the tail in place, even though the Revo has terrible vibrations (my fault), which I now have to fix. But it seems I don't have to worry about the tail giving me problems!!!
Another Quark is going into the Trex 250 and so forth. I am in the north, and the temperature here screws up gyros big time, I have found out! Even the Rapid City, SD, hobby store there, has a dozen or more of the older gyros and they are selling them for cheap, but they are not worth it, like the Quark, it seems. Perhaps if you live in more temperate climate, the southern areas, you may have better luck.Read full review...

Easy to install and setup.
A tiny footprint which allows it to be comfortably fitted to my 400 heli.
Running a s3154 with none of the associated problems being reported when using a gy401 etc.
Flawless tail control under all conditions so far.
Very impressed!
Digital servos only though so don't get caught out if you have an analog fitted.
