Fine tune for 5/5

The product was a good buy. As far as it being an Xbox game, and a hard one to locate at that, it came in good shape and played like new. As a product, or review of the game in this situation, it is not your normal hack and slash type of game where as it actually takes some skill and thought on your attack and defense when entering a saber battle, but also at a fast pace. A saber battle can be very quick or epic depending on when you lay a fatal blow or not. The fighting engine alone makes the game very enjoyable and gives it a high replayability rather then a one time play and off to gamestop to sell it back.
Unlike KOTOR 1 and 2, the story is farely weak with not much options of controling the story and it is pretty limited on how you create a character, develope skills and saber. Fine tune the saber battleing style, better the story with a more epic adventure as in kotor's, add some detail and better graphics, you got yourself a 5/5 game, but still gets the 4/5 for easy and enjoyable play.Read full review...

Jedi Academy

A good follow up game to Jedi Outcast. Liked being able to fight with / against Kyle and also to use more than one kind of saber ( the pair works like scissors to chop enemies into fish food -- especially when you go into force speed and just run around them and stab them in the back...dark force talking) I played on Padawan level first, to get used to the controls, then retried on Jedi level, much more challenging. Only wish I could have used this with a joy stick, but the Xbox 360 doesn't support that attachment for this game. Still, it did look fine and was fun for many hours!Read full review...

GREAT GAME BUT.....

I accidentally got the first game, "Jedi Outcast", and i started to like it. Mostly because of the lightsaber combat. First I thought that Jedi Outcast was the sequel to Jedi Academy, so i didn't have any interest to it. Then I thought, that it would be fun to check out some screenshots here at GS and when I saw, that you can choose your appearance and saber style, I was stunned. I bought the game right away and I liked it alot.
Speaking about the graphics - They could be better, but you have to remember, that it's an old game. The lightsaber's are qute either way. : )
The storyline is pretty mediocre. It could always be better. Really, really better. Even though it wasn't the best storyline, it was really fun to slice Rosh to half (and slice Luke Skywalker to half too, when using cheats and really pissed).
The voices were good. Nothing more.
I sincerely suggest this game to everyone, who has seen an episode of SW and liked it.Read full review...

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (Xbox)

This game has a very good story line. YOu start out as Jaden Core, a Young man who created a lightsabor without ever having force trining or jedi training. You travel to Yavin where you will learn to control the force and your lightsabor better. You can pick you own force powers before each mission, you travel to over 15 different planets, and battle anywhere from dark jedi to stroom troopers to mutant rancors. There is also a good muti player, where you can system link with friends or play with bots in a large varity of levels and game types. The graphics are about a 7 out of 10, and the story line is about a 12 out of 10, and overall its a 8 and 1/2.

Best Game

this game is the best game in the star wars line i have play this game from 2003 to now 2008 the game is still full off people one the the best and must orgional game for the xbox it work on the xbox360 also there are lots of clans and people my gamer tag is battles 14 old name but everyone on there knows each other for the most part.

There are lots of attacks and main weapons are single staff and soul sabers guns are not that promint do to they seem nobby if you want to know more add me or message me i would be happy to show you or tell you about the game my clan has 65 members and we are always getting new one thank you christmass and new years for that.

One of the great and original Star Wars games

As we all know, the Star Wars games can leave an air of disappointment. Either they are too short, or the story sucks, or just what ever. With the Jedi Academy, LucasArts finally delivers what I have been looking for. There is an excellent story, game play is great, and there is just the right mix of challenge and fun in playing. A great game that is somewhat difficult to find, but worth the effort in looking. I also highly recommend part II of this game which is titled "Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast". Jedi battles

The single player isn't as great as jedi outcast but it does have basically the same gameplay but improved. you can use duel lightsaber and double bladed which is cool

Another great Lucas game.

I bought this game after I played KOTOR because I thought it was a RPG but it's more like a action/adventure game.But there's another reason I bought this game and thats because I heard you got to kind'a make your caracter in the beginning of the game.but enough of that when you play this game the grafics are okay and you start out good but when you get near the end is the best because you have a choice to continue being good or have some more fun and kill rosh and make your path to the dark side!Read full review...

It is one of the best Star Wars games.

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is full of great battles, one on one and even three on one. The Force powers are cool. there is alot of lightsaber moves that are all very net to look at. You can choose from one,two, double-bladed lightsaber. There is a plot twist in the game that is very good. there is a lot of lightsaber duals with dark jedi some are very hard to beet.Read full review...
