Good Stuff for the Hardcore Fan

Rebel Assault II is a pretty decent follow-up to what was an awesome Star Wars game for it's time, Rebel Assault. While not as polished, or as classic in the mission selection, this game should please any hardcore Star Wars fan. The graphics are good for a PS game and players will see many familiar places, faces, and ships. On the other hand, the space battles are exceptionally tough in this game, although the ability later to steal enemy ships is a nice twist. With all the great Star Wars games out since, there are definitely better titles to pick from for the novice gamer. For the hardcore Star Wars fan, this may very well be a must have item. I enjoyed it.

A good game for Playstation 1

This is an older game, so don't expect amazing graphics or gameplay. However, for Playstation 1, it is a pretty awesome game. If you like Star Wars, it is an excellent game, as it has many of the main characters and ships from the original trilogy.Read full review...

games for my grandson

I bought this game for my 5 year old grandson. He has a playstation. They do not sell games for the playstation at the stores anymore. He was so excited about me ordering this for him. Everyday he would ask "Nana did my game come yet?" The day I got it in the mail he was so excited. He had an ear to ear grin on his face. I think it might have been a little to advanced for him but that is ok he carried the case around with him for about a week. I ordered Sponge Bob for him and that was a little more age appropriate. I don't regret buying it for him because the look on his face when it arrived in the mail was well worth it!Read full review...

Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire

One of the final hoorahs of the FMV era. The first Rebel Assault was on the SegaCD, so if you've ever played any game for that system, you'll know what to expect for this Playstation/PC sequel. For its time, the video wasnt bad, featured decent characters/special effects. But of all the genres to age poorly, the rail shooter FMV games are the worst. The controls are pretty bad, though I think this game handles better if you use a mouse. Its collison detection is the worst aspect of the game. And its pretty terrible, fun gameplay can save any game, so failing in this area, sets the curve. If you like Star Wars and have never played this game, for under 14 bucks, consider giving it a shot. Its worth it to remind us of how far licensed games have come.Read full review...

Brief review

Classic game if you grew up in the 90s, deserves it's own movie or miniseries.

Wish I had played this one before 2018.

Very unique title. Very impressive for its age. Gameplay controls suffer a bit but definitely worth checking out for die hard ps1 fans. Pre rendered backrounds and fmv cutscenes galore.
