Small enough for tight places, big enough for fat fingers.

I bought this hub because my sons and I were tired of changing controllers out for retro video games played through the PC. It arrived packaged well but with no instructions. That's ok if you're handy but might be a problem if you don't have a lot of DIY experience. The lights can be confusing. If you have something that you are just charging the light never comes on. The light only activates if it's a device attached to your USB 3 port like a game pad or mouse, etc. Cell phones will only light up if you are transferring data but the leds will NOT light up while it's in charge mode only.
Again, not really a problem once you KNOW this but slightly confusing if you don't. It's all metal construction was a big plus for me in a home with 3 kids. I mounted it to the wall with the included brackets (wood screws are not included) and it's not budged a bit through pretty much constant use. All in all the product is great and it's much cheaper than some of the high end USB 3 hubs. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. Read full review...

It allows me to have a single USB cable from my telescope to my laptop to control everything.
