An Antenna That Really Allows My FM Tuner To Perform
I highly recommend this antenna especially if you can mount it outdoors. It is quite easy to install with really no assembly required other than mounting it on a mast, attaching some coax cable, running the cable in to your receiver and securing the mast. As shipped, the antenna elements are already connected, so you just have to unfold them. There is a built in coax F connector to make attaching the feed wire simple. With this antenna in place my FM tuner performs at a level of musical presentation that I never expected. I live 50 miles or so from three favorite stations and their signals now come in strong at the very top of the signal strength meter and never wavering. I can tune them using the wide band mode for the richest signal with absolutely no fading or noise. This antenna is directional, but I can point it anywhere within about a 30 degree arc and not lose any signal strength. I do not have to make any adjustments for the different stations. What I like most is that now we can move around the house without interfering with the signal quality. I had tried a more expensive indoor antenna and found that it had to be moved around a bit for each different station and even then it could not achieve full signal strength and the signal would drop out sometimes as we moved around the room. Now, the music from these FM stations is as beautiful and detailed as it is with a high end cd player that I own. I had forgotten just how pleasurable FM listening can be, not only with the variety of great music but also intelligent and relevant (informative) commentary from the hosts. Downside ? Very flimsy but seems to receive well
It’s much lighter weight than antennas I’ve used in the past. Like most, the elements swing into place and you then tighten them down. One of the thumb screws was stripped so I had to use a wire tie to secure it. When I slightly tightened the F-Connector the female connection that’s mounted inside the plastic case for the Balun it broke so I had to take that apart and re- solder that. Fine directional FM antenna at a great price
I needed this to replace an old FM yagi that was used at a radio station to receive signals which we relay for the Emergency Alert System. The stations we monitor are about 60 miles away. The old antenna was a 5 element but this antenna has nearly as much gain as the old one had. The reception is reliable over that range (we are in flat terrain). The antenna assembled quickly and easily. What I don't know is whether the hardware will hold up in our semi-salt air here in Florida with high humidity - only time will tell. The old one was a Radio Shack product no longer made - and it rusted apart. But I did like how simple and quickly it was to put into place and tighten the screws with the supplied wingnuts.Read full review

The best of all antennas for distant FM reception
For fringe FM reception areas a directional yagi specifically sized for FM frequencies is the only way to go.
And it needs to be on the roof. The attic space gave me an inadequate signal.
Moreover, unless you enjoy static and hiss, HDRadio is the best way to enjoy FM.
And with its multiplexing I get 2,3 or 4 programs from each of 3 non-commercial frequencies, in CD quality sound.
But I needed this rooftop antenna to get a signal strong enough to receive the HD.
This type of antenna is becoming very hard to find. This may be the only model you'll find.Read full review

Super Antenna for FM Stereo
Great Yagi antenna design.
Antenna arrived quickly and assembly was easy. Mounting the antenna is easy with the hardware provided.
Immediately upon installing the antenna/ coax I was able to receive far out stations that were previously unobtainable on my Grundig 800 satellite radio receiver. I previously had no reception trying to receive any of my favorite radio stations, however this antenna performed flawlessly, allowing me to enjoy ALL the stations I was seeking to pull in.
I plan installing a antenna rotor to maximize this antennas directional sensitivity ability, but even without a rotor installed I am easily receiving all my desired radio stations here in my rural North-central Florida location.Read full review

Easy to install and channels are crisp and clear
I ordered this antenna to install benefit my TV antenna a few months back. I just now got to doing the job as i was painting the house. I live 50 miles from Phoenix and about the same from Tucson, and could never pick up the FM channels good enough to listen to. Received and hooked up my antenna today and it worked great. I was impressed with the quality. Very sturdy for an antenna. I got two stations before and they were in and out all the time. I mounted the antenna in my rafters in my garage and run a piece of coax to the receiver with a matching transformer. Now I get about 15 FM stations crystal clear and in stereo. Unbelievable how great this antenna works even indoors. Should have bought one of these 10 years ago. I like it because its not outside and an eye sore to my property.
