Don't miss this Great Set

This review is what I found it & Know. 1st Let me say I've got this Set in Cd Format from Ebay & It's Incredible & also has short Movie out takes on the Cd;'s plus 1 Dvd included w/pics. The Stereo Recording is done in DTS which 1 step above Dolby but U must have A newer receiver & Blu Ray player to play for the best sound. If u decide to buy The set b4 Purchasing ask the seller if on the back cover of the Box does it have The FBI Pricay warning & UPC code. If not not it's a Bootleg. I had to buy 2 b4 figuring out they were not Authentic.

Moving on 2012 Lp Set. I have not heard but read many articles about the new 2012 Remastered Lp's. The Engineers who did the study & compared them to the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab lp's which me Mobile Fidelity are recorded in Japan by Victor Co. of Japan 'JVC". Those were recorded at 1/2 speed from Original master Tapes 200 grams. These are the best sounds of the Beatles. The new 2012 are equally as good as compared to the Mobile Fidelity after many tests conducted by Sound Engineers but they are 180 Grams not 200. Problem is the quality Control was very poor when these were made & large amount of 2012 Sets were sent back to the factory & they were replaced. Point being if u buy this set which u should make sure you play every Lp in it's entirety especially "LHCB" White Album & make sure u have no issues since Ebay protects your purchase. Again I read the sound is 10+++ but u must have a good receiver & Phono. Plus Don't forget the Booklet which has got A+++ reviews. Good luckRead full review...

Excellent Beatles Studio Set

My wife gave me this set for Christmas soon after it was released.

As background, I own several Mobile Fidelity releases of some of these albums released many years ago.

My system includes a Conrad Johnson preamp and Martin Logan speakers. Based on listening on this system, the LPs in this set are sonically excellent and compare favorably to my original Mobile Fidelity pressings with a bit tighter bass.

Sonically this set provides good detail, a full non-harsh sound and almost no surface noise. My set arrived with all records flat and pressed with heavy vinyl. Read full review...
