Fans of Stevie Ray's... you are in for a treat!
I'm usually a bit less than thrilled to watch or listen to a "Live" album
period. Very few artist can deliver a clean, and proper performance as compared to their studio cut's .... Lynyrd Skynyrd did it... One More From The Road ... Peter Frampton pulled it off... "Frampton Comes Alive" and I am so pleased to see that Stevie Ray did it "Live At The El Macambo" This man will be known as one of the greatest Bluesmen for decades to come, if not forever... If you don't like this performance your probably brain dead (No offense to the real brain dead is meant)... Go SoonersRead full review...

El Macambo
First of all the quality of the recording is superb even for '83 technology, and visually it's the kind of dynamic performance that keeps you glued from start to finish. I've watched this one at least 25 times and each time I see and hear it as if for the first time. I just go into the "zone".........
There are sadly so few performances available that we can see, but this one live performance captures everything that made Stevie such a dynamic and flawless master. If you love treasures, you absolutely MUST have this in your library.Read full review...
