this steering wheel lock is a good visual deterrent when in position on the van, it is easy to fit and goes on very quick so you will use it every time the van is left ,a great peace on mind.

With a lot of cars now using steering wheel switching I think a loose,firm sponge pad to offer protection would be a good idea.

A MUST FOR KEYLESS CARS
Have bought three of these so far one for each Car, Two of the cars you need a key also to start the other is keyless..What more to say The Pro is Thatchum cat 3 approved and is very good price for a second hand one with two keys compared to buying new.
Good visual deterant especially in the keyless age of tech where your fob can be scanned while inside the house and you are asleep,, then the code used to open the door start the car and BANG your car is GONE.
I also use a Padlock and chain in each car just for extra visula deterant. Sad to say putting Thieves off my car to an easier target.Read full review...

Very easy and takes just seconds to fit or store and a good visible deterrent. You do need to find the best position between the spokes on your steering wheel with the arm ideally pointing downwards towards the seat).
