Great machine that will give the enthusiast hours of enjoyment.
The Strong SRT-4930 satellite set top receiver has worked well since we bought it. We have tuned in 17 satellites on C Band and several hundred channels. We have also tuned in 4 satellites on KU Band and again several hundred channels on that band. The added HD channels of course increases the number of channels you will pick up on these satellites. The box is easy to use although we still havent used the pva. If you are into locating satellites and tuning in on these bands you will have hours of fun just locating and tuning the channels into the set top box.Read full review...
Best product selling But keep the prices down
The reason I purchased this item was price comparison and also a reputable brand compared to other brands and makes.
I like this brand because it is simple to operate you have'nt got complicateed areas that you get lost and fustrated.

Great Product for a nice price.
Strong have been making Set Top Boxes and IRD's Satellite receivers for quite a long time. This particular model is HD compliant and gives great performance. Especially as the units are no long expensive to buy. Its a cheap way to pursue satellite reception. You would be surprised at whats available for free.

Great Sat Rx for the future
Very reliable, sleek looks.
I bought it for the HDMI output. The picture quality from mp2 signals is just the same as an older receiver, so I"m not using the mp4 capability yet.
The menus etc are low resolution, and appear chunky on the widescreen. But the picture from mp4 signals is cool.Read full review...
SRT- 4930 is excellent in every way.
I have bought that product to update my satellite reception
and found it to be as well as exspected in performance.
Until the software is fixed, not recommended for purchase.
SRT 4390L has issues with recording. Multiple recording on scrambled channels failed. The hardware is very good, but software needs a professional developer to finish it. When receiver is attempting to record on one channel, it's impossible to change to other just to watch it. It says that can record three channels and you can watch fourth one but this is not true. Only good recording is when you use EPG or manually start it by pressing the "Record" button.
I selected this product for recording programs on multiple channels. These programs are on air at late night and impossible for me to watch it live.

Great for the Christian channels.
Enjoy the free Christian channels with this receiver especially CCTV but the time in the front dial is never correct.
SRT 4930 receiver is the best sat receiver
very good ,easy to use and good product in the market,only the price is too high,compare to others it is good quality
