Underappreciated 80s gem!
Aldo Nova’s self-titled debut album, with its hit single “Fantasy”, is definitely a good record but, for me, his sophomore album, Subject, is pure greatness! It’s more electronic than the first album, or even Twitch or Blood on the Bricks, but it’s the one album of his that I never ever get tired of listening to. I’m a sucker for good remasters of albums when they’re needed and I about flipped when I saw that the time had been taken to remaster this album (I already have the remaster of his debut). I have a volume-level barometer that I use when determining how good a remastered CD sounds in my car (where I mostly listen to music) and this one is (in my humble opinion) just about perfect. The liner notes provide a great history of where Nova was when he was recording this album and it was great to read his thoughts and comments. Highly recommended! Read full review...

His best work, period.
I've bought this cassette probably 5 times since I was 15. I'm 49 now.
