Wonderfully charming, sweet, clean movie!

I love this movie. There is such warmth and charm and quirkiness in the characters. The casting was great. The story line is amusing and fun and engaging. You love even the bad guys. James Garner is so handsome and sexy in the "man's man" way of taking charge and being so smart and wise and capable and skilled and, well, just everything a girl would fall in love with in a man! Great western comedy with all star cast

The movie is a classic James Garner western drama/comedy with a great cast. Many of the same actors and characters from the Support Your Local Gunfighter are also in this movie but it has a different plot and I liked the story better. Reallllly Fun Entertainment!!!

A couple of friends recommended this movie, not by the words they spoke, but by the looks and smiles they gave each other when mentioning it. They were right! It's crazy and fun, combining the elements of humor, love (in a unique way), and slapstick together in a totally entertaining fashion. If you have a sense of humor, you'll thoroughly enjoy this movie. I didn't comment on whether or not it is a good value. This is one of the cleverest movies ever made, and it's a great comedy parody on all the Western movies. James Garner plays a guy for whom everything just seems to go right. The supporting cast is great too. Our whole family loves it, and we often quote lines from it to one another: "You just make me tired all over when you talk like that." Funny Western

This movie features James Garner, an outstanding performance.We have watched it numerous times it makes you laugh every time.

This movie's cast are some of my favorite western actors and the movie was well cast. It had a good plot and it definitely proved that good wins over bad. While it was hysterically funny, this only proves that fowl language is not necessary in order to put together a great movie and it should send a message to our present directors and producers. Even though the movie did have a "cat house" in it, that part was brief and I believe most parents would allow their children to watch it. Now, when I get bored or down in the dumps, I watch this movie and it always lifts my spirits and leaves me wondering if the Sheriff ever got to Australia.
