Swallowtail butterflies of North America (1975)

Information on all the American Swallowtails is pretty detailed though, and includes many species from Mexico. Instead of color photographs, color illustrations or paintings are used, but they are so well done they look almost as good as photos and colors might even be truer.
What I didn't like, was the illustrations generally only showed half of each butterfly, instead of the whole butterfly. Also, they seemed a bit smaller than actual size. Has Soft cover and is fairly small book, it measures 8 1/2 by 5 1/2. If you like American Swallowtails though, this is a good book.
