Good Ski Vise
This is a good solid Ski Vise. It's solidly built and seems to be of high quality. The end pieces lift up and down easily to provide a flat platform for the ends of the skis to rest. It also adjust sideways to allow for the skis to be placed on edge on an angle to file the edges. My only complaint is the center piece. It is not very wide nor deep. The width of the jaws are less than 2 inches and only the depth (top of the jaws to the bottom near the screws) is about 2 inches. My older vice was about 3 1/2 inches wide and about 2 1/2 inches deep. These slight differences allowed for more secure grab of the skis and bindings when working on them. Some skis don't have a lot of places to grab the bindings, so small increases in the jaws make a noticeable difference.Read full review
