Sylvester made some the best disco/soul records which still resonate today!

With his strident falsetto vocals he created a sound that inspired the likes of Jimmy Somerville (Bronski Beat).
<br>He was the original 'gender bender' in the late 70s long before Boy George emerged in the 80s.

His disco hits where actually "Hi'NRG' before the term was coined.
