Simple Elegance
I had a Boss RC-1 Loop Station. It had many bells and whistles that got in the way of the simple task I wanted for my looper - start recording when I hit the switch and start playing back when I hit it again. If I wanted a production tool, I probably wouldn't use a footswitch anyway. What I want is something I can use in live performance. When you're playing and singing and listening to the rest of the band and trying to act like a performer, you don't need a lot of cognitive load from your pedal-board. With the DITTO Looper, you don't get it. Just what I needed!
Here are the instructions: one press to record, another press to play back, two presses to stop, a press and a press and hold to erase. BAM!Read full review

Powerful Little Beast!
I've had this puppy for a solid week now, and I can say, I am having an absolute blast with it! It is expanding my creativity while I play guitar, and i'm constantly itching to see what else I can come up with while looping with it. It does have some downfalls, but at this price point you can't expect too much. For example: it only works off of one channel essentially, so if you want to lay a background track and put some lead on top of it, it will all be the same channel (not a delay channel, or anything else). I think the looper 2 and above allow for different channel looping. But that's not a big deal to me just yet, just having fun exploring what I can do with it and definitely enjoying myself while I am at it! This little puppy is worth the money, and I will start to research whether I need a more powerful one, or if the bigger ones do various channels! Worth it for a start for sure though!Read full review

This is a great brand. Second pedal I have purchased from TC. This looper has turned my practice sessions into jam sessions. It's so much fun.

Simple and Useful!
I started with a Digitech Trio+. While it is an awesome pedal, I wanted something more simple and doesn't take a lot of real estate. It is small and simple and works for exactly what I am looking for, though I must admit, the storage options on the Trio+ was a great feature I wish this Ditto had. Nonetheless, I bought exactly what I was looking for at the time.

*Photo is older, by a few weeks, and does not have a few pedals currently in my chain, but it does have the Ditto.Read full review

This pedal loops
I needed something to record loops while I practice lead. This is great. It records up to five minutes. I can put verse twice and chorus twice with no problems. I haven't gotten around to the fancier features, like adding and editing, but that's not why I got it. Maybe someday I'll use this pedal live. I'm not there yet.
This interface of this pedal is "faux" simple. (Think the iPod Shuffle that looks like a stick of gum) It has one button and there are too many functions tied to it.To fully use this, you have to memorize a bunch of commands, a series of taps on the single button.
Having memorized the three commands I need, this pedal is solid and works as promised.Read full review

Take the plunge...get the Ditto looper
I used to use a Boss RC unit looper and then a Trio+, big cool expensive pedals. It may just be me, but a large percentage of the times I would loop something, simple blues or rock, and it would be off just enough to mess things up. The Ditto doesn't do that. The button (mine at least) doesn't click, it's just a smooth transition and I think it he
Me time my loops better , allowing me to feel like taking more risks musically. It's awesomeRead full review

Easy to use looper pedal
I just couldn't get the hang of using a single button looper so I got this one and now even a rhythm-challenged person like me can successfully make a loop to jam over. If you're a more sophisticated player, you can reprogram the second button to do more intricate things. For me, i use it to simple stop the loop. Great value and very well built.Read full review

does what it says
I have no experience with any other looper. I based my purchase on reviews and several demo videos from people other than the manufacturer.
It does what it's supposed to do, and is an effective tool to practice. I use it to record a rhythm loop, and practice solos over top of it. I don't perform or use it to write or record.
It is economical and well built.Read full review
