Ebike battery

Quality product that works well - package has everything to retrofit existing ebike

I bought this to replace a battery pack that was no longer charging. The new one arrived within 2 days in time for me to use it over the weekend.

What came in the box was the battery, a couple of different types of base plates, the connecting cable and the aluminium bar for the sliding holder. Firstly, this new battery is much lighter than my original battery. My existing charger worked in charging this battery. No problems here.

My ebike had the + and - terminals different from the new battery. Buyers should check to make sure of this else risk burning out the motor. Also the existing base plate didn't fit tightly with the new battery. Lucky that the supplier gave me all the necessary items to swap out the existing base plate, battery terminal and aluminium slider bar. It took me about an hour's work to cut off the old battery terminals and replace it with the new one, and change over the base plate. There is a bit of soldering work involved as I didn't want to use the push in connectors.

All in all everything works fine. eBike is running well. Battery indicator works, ebike has plenty of oomph, and my wife is happy with it. I would recommend this product to prospective buyers. Just check to make sure that the polarity of the battery terminals are correct. Read full review...
