Performing well

To be honest, I was a little ambivalent about this battery when I first installed it on my bike; it would not turn the engine of my bike over, much less start it. Upon checking, I found that it was barely showing 12 volts.

So I put it on the charger for a bit, and then it fired things up o.k.

Since then, I have been riding my bike to work, a distance of only three of four kilometres. I am pleased to report that after the initial problem outlined above, whenever I check the voltage after even a short ride, it shows 13.1 volts consistently, and starts the bike (a BMW R65) each morning, if a little grumpily on a frosty one.

This battery is the cheapest one I have found- I have been asked for nearly three times the price for a more up-market item. Since it has perform so well for as long as it has, I am well pleased with it. Read full review...

Spare only

The battery fits, arrived on time and well packed. I will use it as a spare while charging other battery or waiting for new one but it works well and could be used full time. Can't comment on its longevity. Read full review...

Great Replacement Battery

Bought these batteries to replace 7 year old ones on an Italian manufactured Swimming Pool Disability Hoist. They are an exact size/voltage & a/h equivalent and work beautifully. Happy to recommend.

Terminal Post Offset !!

The only problem was the battery terminals are inset too far from the edge of the battery so I had to make adjustments to my bike to get the leads to reach - bloody nuisance.

Not enough charge from new.

Battery fitted ok but would not start my BMW, it needed to be charged despite the advice on the top of the battery saying it didn't.

Had to pull bike appart a second time to jump start it, very frustrating !Read full review...

Not a good substitute

Not recommended for the described bikes. The original BMW battery is 19AH, this one is 18AH. Just strong enough to turn over 2005 R1200RT. Got to hope it starts first go!

Wrong battery..

It was advertised to suit my bike but the wrong battery..to long wrong terminals
Also.it was 5 years old..thats about the expiry date of a motor cycle battery
