Fantastic 4G WiFi router

If you live out in the sticks and only have low speed wired broadband options available to the house (like I did) this may be the perfect solution.
Wired broadband is expensive, it can be substandard, and more importantly it can tie you into a 12, 18 or 24 month contract.
I have used a pocket 3G Mi-Fi hub for a few years and it has served my needs well. Now the time has come to work from home and my little 3G hub wasn’t fast enough and didn’t offer the connectivity I now require. This 4G router has it all. I now get 4G wireless broadband out of thin air which can be shared wirelessly around the house or by Ethernet cable. Worked straight out of the box. Simple to set up and has performed brilliantly. As this is unlocked, like a mobile phone, I can stick whatever SIM card I like into it and share 4G internet around the house. I went with Vodafone unlimited 4G on a 30 day contract SIM which suited my needs. This is now a faster internet connection than I had down the BT telephone wire direct from BT 6 years ago. Perfect! It’s title doesn’t do it justice

This works perfectly without any complex configuration. It’s a pity it doesn’t make it clear in the title that it’s not just a cable router, it is also a very capable Cellular 4g router. I’ve had sims from O2, EE and 3 in the router and they all work without any additional configuration. I couldn’t try Vodafone as they don’t do PAYG data sims. A very easy and capable 4g router. Working at speed in minutes out of the box

Very straight forward to install and setup.
Simple user interface giving option to customise the connectivity to suit any application.
Not forgetting the Lan ports for wired connections
All in all it is a great alternative to a broadband solution
Don't forget this can be used on an inverter in a mobile home, car or pretty much anywhere you get power to it.
Recommend a GiffGaff unlimited sim.
Great wireless coverage and speeds very much like broadband.
I have been watching Netflix in a room some meters away without a glitch.

Great unit. Should have bought a long time ago.

Really easy to set up. Unpack, put a sim in and switch on, locate on your device(s) enter the password (found on back of router) and you are connected in seconds. Now have a download speed of 52Mb/s from local EE mast instead of 1.5Mb/s from my copper land line. The best wireless ever .

I was concerned at the begining ,when thinking of changing, will I be able to get strong enough signal. Although I have been with O2 for 19 years on my mobile. But I managed to find Technology doctors and their offer of package deal ,and they were very helpfull with immediate response to any email. Did not need to be concerned just plug and play literally and it has not been slightest problem or dropped the signal full signal even in busy daytime /office hours . So thankyou the Tech docs.

Easy to set up. You may need to edit APN setting if using Vodafone abroad as it picks up default Spanish settings doesn’t match sim setting which are uk so blocks. Connected strait away at home in the uk with no real set up.
