I had another Bluethoot transmiter for $11 before buying this one. The audio was terrible. No auto reconnection and so on.
The audio quality with Taotronics Bluethooth transmitter is a very nice even when I listen to a music for a long time and the connection with my Philips bluethoot headset is very steady. Works with 2 bluethooth devices.

Turns my Phonak hearing aids into headphones for my LG TV

My Phonak hearing aids are equipped with Bluetooth, but my fairly new LG TV was not. I wanted a Bluetooth transmitter that would send the TV sound out to my hearing aids, but when I looked at the back of the TV, the jacks were all "line in" -- all but one. There was a optical line out, so I went looking for a Bluetooth transmitter that could use that optical line out to send an audio signal. It seems contradictory (optical signal for audio?) but that's just what I did with this adaptor. I started the medallion device that came with aids, then put the Bluetooth into the transmit mode and the two paired almost immediately. Good for my tv

Hooked up to tv via optic cable that came with it. Plugged it in to USB on TV again with cable provided, to give it power. Turned it on and my bluetooth speaker and it paired no problem. Not much easier than that.Read full review
