Lovely compelling artwork, not the usual tarot....very 70's reminds me of my childhood reading Andre Norton's YA science fiction.....they're like they stepped out of her books! Adore them!

Beautiful deck but not worth the price.

The cards are smaller than the standard size tarot deck and they are very flimsy. The images aren't very clear either. It's such a shame because the artwork is so original and beautiful. Also, the cards smelled awful! When I opened the box, a strong chemical smell wafted up and I had to air out the cards. I've kept the deck because I love the images and I have started working with them but what a disappointment.Read full review...

Tarot of the Cat People Deck

I purchased this deck because I had the same one several years ago and found it fun and interesting. Cat lovers will really appreciate the illustrations, which are beautifully drawn and rendered in soothing subtle colors without being washed out. The images do stray a bit from more traditional cards and novice readers may find them a little obscure but not unfathomable. This deck is neither ambiguous nor insipid. Although the concept can appear a little whimsical and there is quite a bit of humor in this deck it also has more serious elements and a measure of darkness, as is appropriate. I do not use this deck professionally but very much enjoy reading these cards informally. Taort of the Cat people - Well worth the money!

This deck is certainly a must for anyone who's a cat lover and a lover of the Tarot! I was looking for a new deck, and had stumbled across this. I always strive to have cards that are true to the Tarot,but also not intimidating for the person I'm reading for as some traditional styles tend to do. This deck certainly met my criteria.
