This a warm, enthusiastic, loving tribute to an exceptional and hard working talent whose keen eye and original mind shines from his earliest childhood work. A celebration of a man who clearly loves what he does and who has always had a deep respect for the integrity and intelligence of his young audience, including himself. Sue Watt has encapsulated Graeme Base's life; his personality, his world and his work in away that gives his long-time readers all the more reason to take out his books and enjoy them fresh. So good I had to keep a copy and get one to give away
