Awesome!
It's really a shame that these girls never made it big here in the USA. This is realyl an awesome all girl rocking band. Shame that they broke up shortly, b/c they couldn't all get along. Joan Jett and Lita Ford went on tho have awesome careers. For those of you that don't have any of their cd's, I advise you to get them now!!! These girls rock and kick ass. Fantastic, Great, Can't Get Any Better!
A much overlooked band and underrated. Only now are they being appreciated. The band did begin the careers of Joan Jett and Lita Ford, two of the hottest rocker chic of all time. I just cant say enough about them. Thier hit, "Cherry Bomb" should go down as the rock and roll anthem for bad girls.Read full review...
The Runaways
Im a big fan of Joan Jett,Lita Ford and Cherie Currie. My favorite track on the cd is Cherry Bomb. When Im in the mood for some nostalgia the cd throws me right back to when I was a young girl. Im guessing there are some major Kiss influences between those girls. Im younger than the women who were in The Runaways but they paved the way for the female rockers that were yet to come.Read full review...
