Interesting historical saga
Interesting historical saga. Rather heavy direction and dim lighting but overall enjoyable.

Great stuff!
We enjoyed this very much. It looks great, the acting is very good, particularly from Mr Irons and Mr Feore and, most importantly, the sense you get of the Borgias as at root an 'ordinary' family is very strong and pervades every episode. We're looking forward to buying Series Two!Read full review...
An Average and rather disappointed series
I bought this boxed set as an avid fan of The Tudors and after reading the reviews thought this would be just as good. Found it to be a little disappointing, rather slow going and not what I expected.Read full review...
A cracking saga of love, hate, lust, cruelty and betrayal.
An excellent saga.Superbly produced acted and directed.I,ve also watched series 2 and am waiting for the final series 3. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a quality historical story.
A great series with brilliant actors
I bought this series as a present for a friend, as we, had enjoyed watching the series ourselves. Our friend has since said he enjoyed watching it as well.
TV entertainment working successfully at a bargain price(2nd hand)
A fascinating combination of sheer professionalism, excellent production values and for once, excellent photography, together with convincing
costumes and sets. Story and acting sustain the interest while a little history is absorbed-what's
not to like?Read full review...
