Alaskan Serial Killer~ is hard to CATCH~ 4 STARS~ Cusack is very good~

PLOT: Alaskan Serial Killer~

GAGE is a Alaskan State Trooper who is given a "CASE" dumped on him. LOTS of hookers are "coming up missing" and a few bodies are found. This is set in the late 1970s and early 1980s. GAGE knows who he suspects Robert Hansen a man who is up to his neck in insurance fraud and has a history of "hiring hookers" and abusing them. When a 17 year old HOOKER Cindy is on the run from Hansen and Gage gets ahold of her to help nail Hansen. John Cusack is very good as the "outwardly" passive family man LOVES to "hires hookers" and get rid of them.... they just have to prove it. BASED on a real life events. This is well done. NEW Director Walker is good but the "jerky" movements of the camera he tries to keep us on edge at times is just irritating with the overly jerky hand held camera angles but over all good movie.4 STARS~Read full review...

Vanessa Hudgens is convincing as a teen hooker.

This film has the star power of Nic Cage and John Cusack, but incredibly, the best performance is delivered by Vanessa Hudgens as teen hooker Cindy. Audiences expect a lot of Cage and Cusack; although neither disappoints, both have played similar characters more than once before. It's Hudgens, best known for High School Musical, who astonishingly transforms herself into Cindy. The Alaskan scenery enhances the film. Fans of Criminal Minds and CSI will enjoy this one. Warning: lots of crude language and several scenes of completely naked females in a strip club (probably thrown in to give it an R rating, because considering the subject matter there is no explicit sex or excessive gore).Read full review...

Great Movie

This is a great movie telling the true story of an Alaskan serial killer who flew his victims in his plane into the bush, let them go, then hunted them like animals. Cusak does an amazing job as the killer,as does Cage as the Trooper, Vanessa Hudgens is surprising as the victim who turns the case acround.

The movie also shows the beauty and the remotness of Alaska.

The Frozen Ground should have made it much bigger in the box office and Academy Awards should have been considered for this fine actors in tough roles.Read full review...
