One of the best books I have ever read a truly emotional experience

In my opinion this is a wonderful book. I read it years ago I think it was about 2004. I belong to a book group in a Glasgow library and it was passed around and we all read it and enjoyed it.
I forgot all about it and a few weeks ago one of our group members asked me if I still had it as her daughter had heard about it and wanted to read it. I had a look in my store of books but could not find it and the more I thought about it, the more I remembered how much we had all enjoyed it. I decided to try ebay as I have seldom failed to get what I am looking for there. I was amazed to find that there were several copies available. It is a true story and is so well written and depicts just how hard life was for women in China at that time.
I would recommend it to anyone and although I didn't tell my friend that I had to buy this copy, it was definitely money
well spent and another book group member also wishes to read it again. I hope this review will be of use to other readers and once again good old ebay didn't let me down.Read full review...
