Another GBBO Winner!
Combined in 2016 in 1 vol. two individual titles, “Classic Cakes (2015) & “Biscuits” (2015) Each recipe receives a full-page color illustration beautifully styled. Each half of the book is individually paginated as per the originals. Recipes are helpfully colot-coded into 3 groups according to level of difficulty. Uniquely Brit usage -- e.g. icing sugar, caster sugar, golden syrup, treacle -- are usefully & clearly explained for the American audience, but the particularly Brit "sponge" is not. Oven temperatures are listed in 4 ways, including fahrenheit, but measurements are only given in metric. These are minor quibbles.
