As a teacher, I highly recommend this book. I would suggest sharing with teen readers some background information on Bradbury, since he was such an iconic writer who actually predicted with accurate foresight in the 50s our society as we know it today. His journey through this imaginary world will not only capture the interest of Sci-Fi readers, but also hold the attention of those who enjoyed the Harry Potter series, with a range of characters and fantastical adventures. Wonderful book. Captivating! Also, look up John Randall York art. He has illustrated The Halloween Tree, capturing the spirit of this book as I imagine Bradbury himself saw it.Read full review...
