Something for Everyone

Peronally, I love this book. It has a little bit of everything: from first love to death; reuniting with family and finding yourself. There is a character for everyone to connect with.

Seventeen-year-old Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller's life was turned upside down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York to Wilmington, North Carolina. Since then she has remained angry and alienated from her parents, until her mother decides she should spend the summer with her father.
Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centrepiece of a local church.
What unfolds is an unforgettable story about love - first love and the love between parents and children - that demonstrates the many ways that relationships can break our hearts... and heal them.

This book is deeply moving and whilst reading you will feel all the emotions the characters feel through joy, sorrow and anger. Throughout the book, you will find yourself evaluating your own life and deciding whether the choices you've made are those that reflect who you want to be.

Nicholas Sparks has written another fantastic novel.

This book has also been adapted into a movie of the same name featuring Greg Kinnear, Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Bobby Coleman and Kelly Preston, among others.
