The Little Irish Baking Book by Ruth Isabel Ross (1996)
Yummy! The baked goods are down to earth, wholesome, and healthy using fresh ingredients. Recipes are incredibly easy to follow. The author is very much appreciated for gathering these tried and true traditional Irish recipes. This book brought a wee bit of Ireland to my very own kitchen. I recommend it highly for anyone seeking fresh baked, hearty, recipes.Read full review...
The Little Irish Baking Book by Ross
I do like this book and will most likely make some of the recipes. It does gives the various conversions of measurements, so that does simplify things.
However I will have to mark carefully which measurements I will use in the specific recipes. They are given in each recipe, but still have to be identified. The recipes use ingredients that are readily available to us in the USA. I bought the book, because I love Irish Soda Bread and Irish Brown Bread and I wanted to compare recipes with others I have, hoping to improve on them.Read full review...
