I can't review the DVD as such as it was a present for a cousin, so I haven't watched it. But I did see the film before buying the DVD so will review the film. I thought Matt Damon's performance was excellent, and the film was very engaging - a well balanced mix of drama and black humour. It kept my attention throughout and I left the cinema feeling uplifted by the outcome - one man's triumph over real adversity. The effects are so real
This movie in parts looked 3D and shot as and when it really happened. It was more like video shot at the time of events rather than a movie. The bear attack was so real and shocking, how Glass survived was truly amazing, although the ending was a little disheartening.
