Can't Go Wrong With This One
New Mutants 87 in higher grades (especially 9.8) is poised to blow up in price. I used to think that 1,284 copies graded in 9.8 was a sufficient supply to meet the current market demands. I was wrong. When you have more than one collector/investor buying more than 10 copies graded in 9.8 for long term hold (10+ years, and yes I know at least 20 people who already own 10 9.8's and are still buying more) there is simply not enough high grade copies to satisfy the market. These investors are picking up the issues at $475-$525 in anticipating of doubling if not tripling their money. Rob has been telling serious comic book collectors and investors to pick up the high grade copies, more so over this last year as the Deadpool 2 movie approaches the start of filming. While this may sound like self serving to Rob, he has always looked out for his fans. Do not be surprised if this book hits $2,000 in five years time, seriously. I never thought ASM 129 in 9.8 would be where it is now, and the interest in Cable could easily surpass the Punisher. Uncanny X-Men 201 with its black cover and 25% population in 9.8 compared to New Mutants 87 population census may actually be the sleeper here. Read full review...

Reading these comments brought back that old nostalgic feeling of glee that one would have when he learns that he has a fairly valuable comic in his possession...3 years later and that feeling was verbally beat out of me for posting my raw, damn near mint condition, 2nd printing of new mutants 87 for sale with a negotiable price set at 60...I knew it wouldn't fetch that high of a value, but at the same time I didn't believe or even know that this copy has become a dollar book...just more mass produced 90's garbage now...the 1st print in mint condition doesn't even break $100 now.
