The Prince and Me (DVD, 2004)

This is an enjoyable film about a spoiled playboy prince from Denmark who decides to attend the University of Wisconsin after seeing a "Wet and Wild T-Shirt movie". Paige Morgan is from a home dairy family, and "Eddie" is the Crown Prince of Denmark. He is totally incognito and is instantly smitten with her. In a strange turn of events, he is invited by her to spend the holidays with her family, and they inadvertedly wind up falling in love. Then one day the tabloid photographers find him and she finds out his HRH status. Her medical career and everything else gets put into jeopardy, and she is mad because he never told her the truth, and tells him to get lost.

Eventually realizing that she is in love with him, Paige travels to Denmark to see him. When she arrives, she is amazed to find out that everyone in Denmark is aware of her and knows all about this American girl that the Prince has fallen for. Edward asks her to marry him, and he is advised not to do so, but he persists. Denmark loves her, but she has last minute jitters and returns to Wisconsin. Title is fine.

Cute movie. Interesting, easy to follow. Movie a family can watch together and not be afraid indecent scenes will pop up. It was refreshing. I like Julia Stiles and think she always does a good job at whatever she plays in. It was my first time to see anything Luke Mably had done and he played his part well. The movie kept you guessing all the way through it and you never really knew how it would turn out.I'm glad I bought it.Read full review...

I adore this movie. It's a classic love story with a few twists that with have you both laughing and biting your nails. Younger, viewers might not catch certain adult humor and pick up on a few things that aren't quite fitting for their age group. However, it's a film the family can enjoy.Read full review...

Awesome Movie!

I absolutely love this movie. I wish that Julia Stiles would have been in the other Prince and me movies that would have just topped it all off for me! I love that it is a down to earth person in the movie and someone that you may be able to relate to! This is an awesome love story. The way life never is but we wish it could be. Julia Stiles is such a beauty and wonderful actress. The rest of the cast is just the best. Everything works and makes this a film worth owning and watching again and again and again...and I do.
