Sadly It's The Final Series, But It Does End Well
It is sad that this was all that we would get for the final season of "The Sarah Jane Adventures", as star Elisabeth Sladen died not long after these three stories were made. But at least we have these three final stories. They don't quite wrap up the series, but like all stories in this series, they are entertaining. Sky, Sarah Jane's new daughter, is a great addition to the family, and I'm just sorry we're also not going to get more of her story now. The cream of this season is clearly "The Curse of Clyde Langer", which sensitively examines the issues of youth homelessness. It is also very scary seeing everyone turn on Clyde as easily and rapidly as they do. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the blu-ray picture looks (and how readily it played in my American player). I just wish this wasn't the last series!Read full review...
