Sesame Street Cookbook
What can you say about the 'Street? It is a classic, and I had to have this book as soon as I became aware of it. I dable in the culinary arts, so this is a prize possesion. My kids and I were raised on Sesame Street, and I would still watch it today if I could. I can't wait to have grandchildren so I have an excuse! The book is simple, breaks everything down for kids, and makes cooking fun. I love all the visual guides to kitchen utensils and equipment. Any budding chef should own this. This harks back to a time when The C Monster ate cookies with no excuses, and we knew better, and did not have to have him tell us to eat right. He is the man, or monster, in this case. Get this book if you can find it anyware. There is a newer one available, but it is not nearly as good.Read full review...

In this delectable cookbook we are given rare recipes for all the great Sesame Street inhabitants. Finally we can get a taste of what it must be like to live on this famous block as we chow down on those mouth-watering muppets. Stand out recipes in this book include: Mushrooms Over Grover, Cajun Burnt Burt, 1-2-3 Easy Bake Count, Ernie’s Rubber Duckie al’Orange, Oscar on a Garbage Plate, and Slow Broiled Elmo. This book also teaches important serving and preparation techniques such as sharing and puppet hair plucking.Read full review...
