MI6 and KGB teamed up? It's an Anglo-Soviet ccoperation required to find missing submarines.
I bought this DVD to replace the original DVD I had bought which was developing problems with playback. This Roger Moore's third movie as James Bond. This time 007 reluctantly teams up with hot KGB agent XXX Anya Amasova (Barbara Bach) to discover who is stealing British and Soviet submarines. If features the submersible Lotus Esprit and Stromberg's submersible fortress The Atlantis. Other great actors in this film are Kurt Jurgens as Stromberg and Caroline Munro as Stromber's pilot Naomi. This is a fun move w lots of humor and action. and Jaws' first film. Enjoy!Read full review...

Worth watching again!
The best James Bond movie ever made. It balances Sir Roger Moore's charm with his wicked sense of humor. I know Moore's Bond is unlike the 007 in Fleming's books, but who is. I guess the closest would be Sean Connery's the ultimate cold professional killers line "you've had your six" in Dr. No, but that movie doesn't have the stunning Barbara Bach, the fantastic Richard Kiel (Jaws), nor the perfect pace this movie has. The director, Lewis Gilbert, finds the perfect blend of action, humor, romance, and whiz bang gadgets that Bond fans have come to expect. Sure it's a leap into a fantasy world but isn't that what 007's movies are for? Pure escapism and worth 2 hours of your time.Read full review...
Roger Moore In This One....
Yes, Mr. Moore was good in this one, but then the added acting of Barbara Bach & also Mr.Kiel, made for an awesome film.
I rather enjoyed it, it was GOOD!
I liked the film very much! Sir Roger Moore was a good 007, a bit campy. HAHA! The DVD came in the mail fairly quick. The DVD plays fine too.

The Spy Who Loved Me
Not one of my favorite Bond films, but it does have it's moments. Roger Moore was brilliant like always, but it was kind of lacking. Really one of the first Bond films to get away from the Ian Fleming novels (despite using a Fleming title). In the 24 films, I don't think they really ever made a bad one. This one just doesn't shine as brightly as some of the others in my opinion. I purchased this in an attempt to collect every Bond film.Read full review...
Bond at his best.
Thoroughly enjoyable movie on all accounts. A real Bond epic. I bought it to see the chase scene with the Lotus Esprit. The scene was fabulous and I now want one of those cars. Roger Moore was as debonnaire as ever and Barbara Bach was simply stunning throughout. This film is a great escape to a time and place we would all love to be again.Read full review...
