Good movie, highly recommended to western fans.

I saw this on TV and enjoyed it so much that I got my own DVD to watch it again without ads., It runs just over 2 hours and I thought Hepburn was great in it and the role so far removed from "My Fair Lady" that it showed just how good an actress she was and beautiful too. The rest of the cast, Lancaster, Murphy (not a hero in this), Saxon (small role only) Bickford, Gish, Wiseman and McClure were all believable in their roles. The story appeared to be a switch of the plot of "The Searchers" where this was an Indian girl taken by the whites instead of a white girl taken by the Indians?? Good movie, highly recommended to western fans.Read full review...
