A Walk to Remember
This is a great adventure story so beautifully filmed with such clarity you'd swear the Twin Towers were still standing ! My knees always go to jelly in the final walk sequences. It's doco-like narrative is engaging throughout and fans of other aerial acrobatic films like Trapeze (1956) ,The Story of Three Loves (1953) and Somerset Maugham's Gigolo and Gigolette (1951) will not be disappointed.
I find this film is best watched in tandem with the documentary on the same subject, Man on Wire(2008).Read full review...
