Just Plain Sensible!

Finally an eating, lifestyle plan to 're-set' the state of affairs most of us find ourselves in: falling prey to every kind of artificial additive, too much of everything with too many ingredients we know nothing about, and then feeling just plain awful and out of control.
This program introduced me to a 30 day no-nonsense plan to get rid of my cravings and "all the time hunger" that I was experiencing. Removing potentially harmful foods, those that just may be the cause of issues with body function, emotional dysfunction, and cravings for 30 full days was really eye opening. Almost immediately I felt more clear-headed and more energetic. After 30 days, you may systematically add the foods you really want back into your life and see the difference that may make.
Right now I am in week 3, already know there are certain foods, like sugar, that I will have a hard time
inviting back into my life. Difficult because its in EVERYTHING!!I
Its refreshing that "losing weight" is not the central goal here. It may be a nice side effect, but on the WHole 30 you are told NOT to go near the scale; there are multitides of more important issues that WHole 30 helps with!

The Whole 30 Eating Plan was different than I expected. I assumed it was more of a "clean eating" type of lifestyle. While it may be that, it is much more complicated and restrictive than I was led to believe. Some may like it, but it just wasn't for me. The Whole30 is the answer to a healthy life style.

I just finished my first whole 30 days. I found it to be very easy to do. I have no cravings for sweets and could care if I ever have them again. I am never hungry or craving anything. All my pains in my knees and back are gone. I am sleeping for more than 4 hours a night in over 30 years. I have lost 20 pounds and still losing. I have learned to eat healthy and loving everything I have tried. I will keep this new way of eating for the rest of my life. I have tried every plan there is. Eat healthy and feel better

Great meal planning and easy way to shed pounds and improve your health. I have been on this plan for 4 weeks and have shed 13 pounds. Had doctors appointment yesterday. All vital signs are good. He said he would see me in a year. I am nearly 75 years young...

I like Whole30, however, I believe it would be better in a bound form as it is hard to jump back and forth between several pages if you want to check on a page previously read. It is also hard to find a recipe after you have read the whole book. The book have wonderful sounding recipes I would like to try, however, I need to now purchase the book so I can try them! It's not a miracle cure!!

The Whole 30 is a good program for those who want a healthier eating lifestyle. I would suggest modifying it a bit to your own liking. I would also recommend a day to cheat a little as a diet can make you want to binge too much. Everything in moderation is the key to good health along with diet and exercise. Overall, it is a good read and helpful to begin a new eating regime.
