I bought this book because it was described to be a companion to the awesome series The Wheel of Time. And it is! It gives a solid world to set the series in with untold history, legends and character backgrounds. It also has interesting art and interpretations of different landmarks and character descriptions from the story as well as more comprehensive maps of the world and unknown details about things such as the 'ways'.
It came out I believe around when book 9 was out and is a great reference for anyone reading any particular book and should answer at least some questions you may have.
As much as I loved it I felt it still had much more to tell and fill in about the world and some of the character art could've been a little more book-accurate.
Anyone who loves the series should have one of these too, but I'm still awaiting the 'encyclopaedia' to fill in the rest of the blanks, as you are too if you're looking this book up I guessRead full review...
