great book

I had this book as a child, and i ablsolutely loved it. It was thrown away or given away by my parents at some point, so i thought i would never find the same book again. It is a fantastic, enjoyable book for children. Each page has a cut out so you can see the bug/animal that is spoken about in the old woman's stomach, as well as in the stomach of the bug/animal that is eating the previous bug/animal.Read full review...

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly

This is a great fun item. I have used it on many English-teaching trips to India and the small kids just love it when you let them place the various critters in the lady-doll's mouth, especially enhanced by noises of grunting while she swallows them, one by one. Super cute!

A very great book in a long line of books! This book is huge and probably for a teacher. However very cute and also very interesting how they have made the placement on the main poem.

This is an adorable book, perfect for all kids.

I love this book my 7 year old son loves it just as much as my 4 year old daughter. Its a classic book good for all the ages.

My kids grew up loving this book.

My kids loved this book when they were young. They'd ask me and my mom to read it ALL the time. I wanted my grandson to have the experience too.
