Exposing cognitive biases like no other

This book uncovers the typical human biases that surface when one is faced with making decisions under uncertainty. Although I personally found the book to be going into too much details in places, the general moral of the book is that our thought process is riddled with flaws and sometimes we really ought to stop and think hard about decision we make especially when those decisions are concerned future financial gains/loses. For me as a trader/speculator in foreign exchange this book was an eye opener and has provided useful guide to decision making process in live markets.Read full review...

Kahneman handed me the keys to the University of my mind.

I was told about this book by my University Professor (of Finance) and based on her description of the book, I bought it. It was the breath of fresh air and clarity I was looking for whilst doing my MBA. I knew I was in the hands of a genius by the end of page 1 and couldn't put it down at all.
I am sure 'Thinking Fast and Slow' is not everyone's cup of tea as it makes you probe deep into who you are and how you have come to think the way that you do, and let's be honest, most of us would avoid doing this given the choice. I am sure there is nothing like this on the shelves and is not to be confused with a self-help book that merely motivates you without education. This book will explain how it is possible that our brains and the decisions we make automatically every second of the day are not to be trusted entirely and why our world is the way it is when we look at it.

I found 'Thinking Fast and Slow' more thrilling than a university education and thousands of dollars cheaper.

Satisfactory

The book is not so interesting as expected.
The book condition looks a bit old too.
But the sender was very thoughtful to have the parcel covered nicely. Thanks.

Highly recommended

This book has certainly changed the way I think! We all default to fast thinking with good reason. However, taking control of when to think slow can bring surprising results. Highly recommended.
